Bill has been an active radio monitor since 1960 when he built his first receiver, a Heathkit AR3. Over the years he has been a column editor for NASWA’s FRENDX, The Northeast Scanning News, All Ohio Scanner Club and Popular Communications. His individual works have appeared in other publications. Bill was an early advocate of the use of computers in the monitoring hobby. He programmed numerous radio utilities for the Commodore series of computers. Recently he entered the fraternity of amateur radio as N2CSA. He is owner and control operator of the N2CSA 70cm repeater/EchoLink node 12635. Bill is an active radio monitor and ham. Bill is also Chief of Artillery of the Civil War reenactor group, The Provisional Army of the Confederate States http://www.csaengineers.org/ He is also a collector of rare French Fries. Back |
